Emotional Intelligence (EI) is defined as the capacity to be aware of, control, and express one's emotions, and to handle interpersonal relationships judiciously and empathetically. There are four essential components of emotional intelligence: Self-Awareness, Self-Management, Social Awareness, and Relationship Management. Times such as the present one with COVID-19 test all four components (and more). This session will provide a deeper understanding of how emotional intelligence may affect our work and personal lives. Furthermore, it will explore how we might use EI to respond effectively and equip us to perform at peak capacity, in a teleworked environment, even through volatility and changes.
